To expand on this point: I’ve protected my company on several occasions by including our full terms and conditions directly within the quotation document. This ensures the client cannot later claim they were unaware of the terms, as they receive the quote prior to any works commencing. It also presents far more professionally. Additionally, I include the same terms within the final invoice for added reinforcement. This approach removes the risk of forgetting to send them separately or relying on clients to follow a web link.
